SALINGARI SOUND ACADEMY July 9-11, 2024 9:00-12:00

The SALINGARI KLANGAKADEMIE is a mobile project to promote and expand the musical experiences of children and young people. New approaches to musical practice in relation to intercultural musical dialog are presented and practiced. The focus of the collaboration is the unifying cross-cultural element of improvisation. As part of our work, we will create new arrangements based on world music literature that will give all musicians, regardless of their level, the opportunity to gain collective musical experience, and all participants will be invited to bring their own ideas to the collective playing. The results of our work will be presented to the audience at a small concert at the end of the Sound Academy The Sound Academy requires some initial experience with your own instrument. We work with and without sheet music.
