The musical work SOMNIA PACIS | dreaming of peace is a collective place of expressive interaction between music and speech. Beginning with the war conflict and expanding to the stages that accompany the individual, the community and then the world, the work is an artistic search for peaceful coexistence. It is a musical creation that combines both classical and traditional timbres, sometimes using complex and sometimes simple expressive forms. The narrative texts sometimes complements and sometimes reinforces the themes brought by the music, balancing between the horrors of war and the dream of peace. The collective vocal and rhythmic play of percussion and narration, combined with the orchestral ensemble, which moves both compositionally and improvisationally, weave an inter-artistic web that aims not only to move and arouse the listeners' senses, but also to provoke them, bringing them into contact with a musical experience that is often unprecedented.
